We're very stoked that we were able to cover the much-anticipated Mutya Ng Dabaw 2013 Grand Coronation Night last night, which is also one of the commencing events of the Araw Ng Dabaw 2013.

I was with my blogger buds Arjay and Kevin, and good friend Nekko Siton who didn't have second thoughts when I tapped him to cover the event with me and contribute his photos for WD. Hehe Thanks wait! :P

An immensely amazing and breath-taking Cirque du Soleil themed number opened the show which was performed by local talents.

Aerial stunts by Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3 contender, Synergy.

Contortionists, clowns, magicians, and aerial stunts left the crowd in awe. Had I known that this is what will be showcased that night, I would've brought my little brother with me.

 A Mindanao-inspired number by the five finalists. The Q&A portion were then held right after this number.

The candidates were given one common question (above) which they all choose to answer in English. For sure those who were following our live blog that night answered that question just as the candidates were giving theirs; WanderfulDavao delivered it real-time online. ;)

They also gave their answers wearing the mindanaon outfits which for me has a good connotation.

Everyone was surprised when Miss Universe 2010 fourth runner-up Ma. Venus Raj was called on stage as a co-host. I guess 98% of the people who were at DCRC had no clue that she's coming.

Venus Raj and local talent Mikee Aportadera were the hosts of this year's Mutya Ng Dabaw.
